I have created this website to document my research and share my thoughts and discoveries on editorial illustration. I find this type of illustration particularly captivating; it is a job which can take on many opportunities and can be approached differently by every individual.

What is editorial illustration? It is the task of interpretating and understanding of texts and being able to visualise these texts with creative and unique illustrations. Editorial illustration can be used throughout many variants of media. They are used in printed media such as magazines, newspapers, children’s and adult books, both fiction and non-fiction. They are used in social media, blogs, online magazines and news sites, as well as advertising and marketing campaigns.
